Macer Xpress installed a new 8-inch waterline to supply critical fire protection for a local fire station. The scope included installing both an 8-inch gate valve and a 6-inch gate valve, as well as performing a jack and bore operation beneath the roadway with steel casing. To meet fire safety requirements, we installed an 8-inch fire-rated compound water meter paired with an 8-inch RPZ backflow preventer, ensuring reliable water flow and system protection. This upgrade enhances the station’s operational readiness and ensures compliance with fire protection standards.
